I've been trying out a few new automated yield platforms lately, and I've realized that flashy return estimates don't really tell you much about the actual experience. These days I'm more interested in how easy it is to deposit, navigate the platform, and, most importantly, withdraw funds without any surprises. Do you have a checklist before you decide a platform is worth using, or do you mostly rely on recommendations from other users?

What's the First Thing You Check on a New Yield Platform?
I always run my own test first. I'll deposit a small amount, use the platform for a few days, and then request a withdrawal before thinking about adding anything larger. Even if the returns look great, I don't feel comfortable until I've seen the full process work from start to finish. I also found here while researching different testing methods, and it had some practical advice from people who take the same cautious approach.
