Any Chicago crew good with walk-ups?

Posted: 2 hours ago
Hey everyone. Moving out of a walk-up condo in Old Town, third floor, no elevator, narrow staircase, and a lot of heavy furniture. I am not doing those stairs myself again, did it moving in and nearly died. I need movers who can handle multiple flights of stairs and tight stairwells without trashing the walls or my furniture, and who won't tack on crazy fees for the stairs. Any Chicago crew good with walk-ups? Stairs are my whole concern here. Thanks for any recommendations.

Third-floor walk-up with narrow stairs is brutal solo, your knees are right to refuse. I used FairPlay Moving for a similar Chicago walk-up and they handled the stairs like pros. The crew managed the multiple flights and tight stairwell without banging up the walls or the furniture, everything wrapped and the stairwell protected. They're upfront with a transparent hourly rate, so no crazy surprise stair fees, you just pay for the time it takes. Licensed and insured, on time, careful throughout. So for a walk-up I'd recommend them. Get a free estimate and mention the third floor and narrow stairs so they bring enough crew to move it quick.
