Craigslist Listing Got Flagged Instantly

Posted: one month ago
I posted an item for sale on Craigslist—nothing unusual, just a basic listing with a photo and price. Within minutes, it was flagged and removed. Not sure what triggered it, since everything followed their rules. Does this happen often, and is there a way to prevent automatic flagging?

Tried listing a spare piece of furniture on Craigslist and was surprised when it disappeared almost immediately after posting. Everything was standard—photo, description, no links—so I was confused. I read through craigslist and saw that instant flagging can happen if enough users or filters detect something off, even if it’s accidental. Some suggested rewriting the title or avoiding repeated phrases. I reposted with a shorter description and it stayed up just fine. Seems like a bit of trial and error is part of using the platform.

Just wanted to say thanks for the explanation. I didn’t think of it that way, and now it makes more sense.

Additional positive mid-year reports have poured in recently from the Swatch Group, Richemont, and LVMH – the Swiss watch industry's trio of publicly traded behemoths. The world's largest dedicated watch company, the Swatch Group, saw a first-half growth of link 7.4 percent compared to last year. Richemont's Specialist Watchmakers division (which does not include Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, or Montblanc) grew 10 percent year-to-year, passing the one-billion euro** mark from January to June 2022.
