Removing Unwanted Objects from Photos – Does AI Really Work?

Posted: one month ago
Hey everyone, I recently took a great group photo with my friends, but there’s this random guy in the background making a weird face, and it totally ruins the shot. I tried cropping, but it just doesn’t look right. I’ve heard AI can remove objects from photos, but is it actually good? Or does it just leave weird smudges?

Rosselli bought this watch in 2019. He was drawn to its link simplicity, its clean dial, and the feel of the bezel turning, but he was also drawn to its history. "Once I heard that this was the first dive watch, that it came out a year before the Submariner, I just knew I had to have it."

Haha, I had the exact same problem with a beach photo—some random dude just chilling in the background completely threw off the vibe. I used image quality enhancer to remove him, and it worked way better than I expected. You just select the object, and AI fills in the background pretty naturally. Sometimes you might need to tweak it a bit, but it’s way easier than manually editing in Photoshop. Definitely worth a try!

This reminds me of when people used to spend hours manually editing things out of photos. Now AI just does it in seconds—it’s kinda wild! I wonder if we’ll get to a point where AI can completely reconstruct scenes based on what should’ve been there. Feels like we’re living in the future!

AI has come a long way in photo editing! I was skeptical at first, but some tools now remove unwanted objects flawlessly—even complex backgrounds or photobombers. The best part? Many can also quitar marca de agua a foto without leaving a trace. Just used one recently and the results looked totally professional. Definitely worth trying if you haven’t yet!

Yeah, AI tools for photo editing have definitely come a long way, but they’re still a bit hit or miss depending on what you're trying to fix. I was actually editing some portraits recently and stumbled on this piece — https://skylum.com/how-to/how-to-edit-hair-in-photo — while looking for help with tricky hair edges. Surprisingly, some of the same techniques worked well for cleaning up the background too. Sometimes a bit of manual tweaking still beats full auto.
