Is a digital footprint really a big deal?

Posted: 3 months ago
Hey! Lately, I've been wondering if a digital footprint really matters in the long run. I mean, we all leave traces online, but how much of it actually affects our privacy or future opportunities? Does anyone have experience or insights on how real and impactful it can be?

Is digital footprint real? It definitely is, and it can have a bigger effect than people often realize. For Josh, a teacher living in Cambodia, this Omega Seamaster is an essential part of link his workday – from timing his lesson activities to knowing when class ends and keeping track of how much time he’s been interrupted. But aside from the everyday functions the watch performs, Josh's Omega accompanies him everywhere and withstands all the rigors of his adventurous life. He's proud to call himself a one watch kind of guy, but perhaps a new watch is in his future.

Back in 2018, Crowe auctioned off a sizable number of watches from his personal collection at Sotheby's Australia. One of those watches was – you guessed it – an Omega Speedmaster on a black leather strap, though different from the one worn in this film. Rumor has link it that this 50th anniversary piece is also his personal watch, though I have no concrete information to confirm that, and in the spirit of writing about journalism I really shouldn’t speculate.
