In this latest incarnation, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel's favorite blossom is depicted on a sculpted golden charm that dangles link from the watch's crown. A single brilliant-cut diamond sits at the center of the bloom on the black-dial version, while the jeweled version fittingly puts on the Ritz, with a pavé diamond dial and glittering charm suited for a black-tie soiree. (Remember those?) To complete the look, there's even a matching open ring with a charm.
The new feature that I've found useful every single day I've worn the Series 10 is the link ability to play audio directly from the watch's speaker. While it doesn't seem like much, I loved that I could just put on a podcast while I was cooking or folding laundry, with my phone away from me. It's a great touch that continues to add more use cases for the Apple Watch every day.
Showing hours, minutes, a power reserve at 12, running seconds at 4, and the date at 8, this Anniversary matches its platinum case with a lovely white dial and white metal dial elements. Hand-wound and sporting a handsome open caseback, the Anniversary's design is based on a tourbillon link chronograph pocket watch that Daniels made in 1994.
