Wrote a detailed review for a hotel I stayed at and submitted it on TripAdvisor, but it hasn’t been published. Got the confirmation email, so I know it went through, but it’s been a few days now with no update. Wondering if reviews go through an approval process or if they sometimes just don’t get posted.

Learned that some reviews take longer to appear if they trigger a manual review for specific keywords. A week later, it finally showed up. Now I always keep a copy of my review before submitting, just in case I need to edit and resubmit.
